- Do not place equipment within 6 inches of flat roof vents.
- Show how many lag screws are used at each attachment and confirm they are non-corrosive.
- Modules must be set back at least twice their height from the roof edge.
- Clearly show and label all roof features like pipes, vents, chimneys, fans, and skylights.
- Include span charts for all roof zones used.
- Make sure the rail spans match the roof slope, wind zones, 110 mph wind speed, and Exposure C
- Use 48" max spacing for attachments and show max rail cantilever based on manufacturer specs.
- Provide total roof coverage, including existing PV panels.
