Provide the size of roof overhang. Provide a 3' plus the roof overhang size of pathway measured from the edge of the roof overhang (flying rafter). Or 3' pathway from the load bearing walls. Example If the roof overhang is 2', provide 5' pathway.
Ensure and show that fire access pathway is a minimum of 3' at all points along the roof. Example show 3' pathway along ridge even if we are not installing on adjacent mounting plane.
Ensure that the pathway does not cross over any roof obstructions.
