PE Instructions:
FOR NEW STAMP REQUESTS AND RESTAMPS, The AHJ requires that structural stamps on PE calcs, PE letter, roof plan & roof mounting details page must be dated with the date of signature through the stamp. Please see attached below regarding acceptable date of stamps.
***All stamped documents must carry the same stamp date, even on revision / re-stamps.
"The Engineer’s letter (residential) shall include the following information:
Complete, detailed description of the existing roof framing (structural components of the roof and their physical condition).
Name of person/organization, under the responsible charge of the engineer, who performed the site visit to visually inspect and identify the structural components of the roof and their condition
Refrain from using term "slippery slope" or "slippery surface" in structural letter & calcs. Slippery slope in structural engineer's calculations/letter is not accepted within the City of Aurora.
***Engineering letter must include this statement exactly. "This Engineer Letter certifies the roof is adequate to support the solar PV system."

For Line Side Taps:
Indicate on the 3-line diagram bonding the GEC and the neutral conductor at the main PV disconnect.
Provide the specifications sheets and the UL listing document for the tap connectors to be installed.
Line side tap ground needs to be a min. #6 AWG. Need to bond neutral to ground at first means of disconnect on a line side tap. Do not remove poi to disco grnd or neutral
Specify if interactive, hybrid or stand-alone system.
Plans shall include all grounding on Single-line diagram. Centerfed 120% allowed
Enphase systems must show conductor info from modules to Jbox on roof. Default template info is insufficient.
