- Pre-fill the SBI/SIF aka Special Inspector Form before sending to PE for stamps. (see files section at the bottom of DB for the form) Request that PE provide the SIF (Special Inspection Form) and LOI (Letter of Intent) _
- PE Instructions:
- SE / EE digital stamps and signatures on all PV Plans pages 1-10. Each page listed on the table of content MUST be stamped by the engineer. FL Statute, PE Letter / Calcs, & Special Inspector Form aka SIF, and Letter of Intent. (see notes below for explanation)
- EITHER All pages of the structural calcs need to have stamps and signatures or a stamped and signed index page needs to be included in the calcs letter.
- AHJ requires all documents and Plans to include original handwritten signatures, handwritten date, and seal. The date of signature must be immediately adjacent to the deal on all signed pages
- Provide letter of intent of inspections from Special Inspector signed and sealed. FBC-110.10.1 - Fill out Legal Description and Folio/Property ID/STRAP # from the Property Appraiser records.
- This is 2 hand signed, dated and sealed letters from special inspector noting what inspection he will be performing (solar panel to truss connections) letters to have site specific info. (job address and permit number) fbc-110.10.1. The letter of intent must have no mention of an inspection being performed by photographs. Please have the PE leave a line for the permitting team to add the permit number before submitting to the AHJ. An example letter of intent has been uploaded to the files below for reference. **(See _ _Letter of Intent - Signed__ in the file section for reference)**** On the Special Inspector Form, the engineer is to sign both on the engineer signature line and over his seal.

- Centerfed 120%: EE Stamp Required All new PV systems need to be treated as a new service and therefore when doing a line side tap the ground wire needs to stop at the AC disconnect and that the system is then grounded via an alternate jumper.
- Do not list piercing taps for line side tap connections. The only fitting we can use for line side taps in these AHJs are insulated Polaris taps.
