Plan set

Plan Set Requirements

Plans must include color renderings of the panels superimposed on the home - along with color pictures of the front/side/rear of home. Conduit location to be shown in dark color on renderings. Specify that the panels cannot be seen from the street. Conduit must be shown in different colors for roof jumpers and DC conduit to inverter. (Blue for DC roof pipe, yellow for DC homerun to INV)

Roof Plan

Panels may not be placed on either the front of house or where they can be seen from the street, unless there is an exception (i.e. house on dead-end street surrounded by commercial buildings).

Attachment Detail

Please be advised this AHJ requires a mandatory architectural review board meeting ; panel placement is very important. With that, please try to avoid the front facing roof of home, especially if they can be seen from street. If corner house be mindful of the two sides of roof that face the street ; same applies to avoid panels being visible from street. Highly unlikely any project where panels are visible from street, especially on front, will be approved for permit.
