Per TCO 1104.08 R

Per TCO 1106.05 F: Need a landscaping plan showing screening requirement. Structures must be screened on all sides.
Screening Requirements
The screening can be:
- Continuous planting (e.g., trees, shrubs), a hedge, a fence, a wall of earth, or a combination. Must follow Planting Requirements.
- The screening should have 90-100% opacity (no gaps or see-through).
- The screening height must be 1 foot taller than the service structure but cannot exceed 12 feet.
- If the service structure is next to a building wall or landscaped area, that wall or landscaping may fulfill the screening requirement if it's tall enough.
Planting Requirements
- The plants used for screening must be evergreen (retain needles all year) and must be at least 2/3 of the height of the service structure when installed.
- The plants should meet the opacity requirements within 4 years.
Additional Notes
- Gas meters must have non-combustible mulch (like decorative stone) within 3 feet of the fixture.
- No interior landscaping is needed inside the screened area.
- The fence or wall used for screening should match the main building, unless you're in certain zoning districts (I1 and O-IE), where chain link with opaque slats or masonry is acceptable.
