Spoke with Kerryn over the phone and she let us know we did need structural stamps/calcs. - LL Do you require structural calculations for residential solar? Yes or no? Structural calculations for residential solar. Most of our residential houses in South Salt Lake City are many years old, so, structural review of the roof structure to be able to carry the additional loads imposed by the solar installation will be required.
