- No load connected between the dedicated meter and the panel breaker feeding the solar system

- The inverter must be listed as meeting the requirements of UL 1741 and IEEE 1547

- Disconnect switches will comply with NEC 690-17 and will have a sign reading: “WARNING -ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD - DO NOT TOUCH - TERMINALS ON BOTH THE LINE AND LOAD MAY BE ENERGIZED IN OPEN POSITION”
- Breaker will be labeled “PHOTOVOLTAIC POWER SOURCE” per NEC 705 and “BREAKERS ARE BACKFED” per NEC 690-64(b)5.
