Plans & docs

- Meter socket must be next to the existing ERD Utility meter.

Requirements
- CME accepts Hot Bus; a disconnect is required.
- For Lug Fed MSPs: main breaker must be installed. If not possible, MPU is required.
- City of Mesa/MesaAZ follows SRP labeling for PMs and disconnects.

- Wire inverter to top, disconnect to bottom.
Existing Systems
- All equipment must be shown, labeled, and called out.
- Install Reqs
Disconnect must lock only in the OPEN position with a standard City/ERD padlock. Only City personnel may remove the padlock. Unauthorized removal is a material breach.
- Placards
If solar equipment is on a different structure than the SES/delivery point
- Install placards at every SES.
- Placards must give clear directions to the SES and Disconnect Switches.
- Label Disconnects as 1/x, 2/x, etc. (x = total number).
- Placards must be embossed/engraved metal, permanently riveted or screwed on.
Disconnect must be labeled by as follows
- DISTRIBUTED GENERATION DISCONNECT SWITCH WARNING!
- ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD
- DO NOT TOUCH TERMINALS
- TERMINALS ON BOTH LINE AND LOAD SIDES MAY BE ENERGIZED IN OPEN POSITION
