- Electric Service Reqs
- If utilizing a Meter Adapter/ConnectDER for install, the meter has to be ringed meter, or the utility will trigger MPU.
- If the electrical configuration is detached meter and main panel, and the meter is above the MSP the utility will not accept the configuration and trigger an MPU.
- Adding a battery Gateway between a detached meter and MSP is considered an upgrade by the utility and they will trigger an MPU to CSED panel.
- Install Reqs
Not meeting these conditions will cause Final Inspection to fail. 1) Provide a 3 ft x 3 ft clear and flat workspace by removing any obstacles (tree, bush, plants, etc.) around any meter(s), disconnect(s), and the service entrance. 2) Customer and Contractor must be aware of SRP-required clearances. 3) Install on service entrance a placard showing distance to and location of PV Meter AND PV Disconnect. 4) Wire size on plans must match what is installed.
- Placards
- Use the appropriate selection in the label page block in CAD.. "SRP Default". MANUAL ADJUSTMENTS ARE REQUIRED HERE. an example of these labels can be found in the files section: SRP DER LABELS, EXISTING SYSTEM LABELS.
- The OCPD label should be pointing to the Fused AC Disconnect. ...OVERCURRENT PROTECTION DEVICE ----> UTILITY AC DISCONNECT SWITCH
- FOR EXISTING EQUIPMENT: Please include labels for existing DER meter socket and utility disconnect, label equipment as "1 of 2" and "2 of 2" respectively for both new and old equipment. Example added to files.
- Rapid shutdown arrow to be pointed at the inverter
- Placards installed on SES indicating distance/location of PV Meter and Utility Disconnect.
