At the end of the billing period, the Town will subtract the metered energy that was delivered to the Town’s Electric System from the metered energy which was supplied by the Town. The net positive energy supplied by the customer will be billed at the applicable retail rate. A net positive energy deliver to the Town’s Electric System will be carried forward as a kWh credit to the customer. Any credit balance remaining on May 31st of each year or upon termination of electric service will be settled and paid to the customer within sixty (60) days. Other applicable fees and charges, including the base rate and demand charge of the retail rate, will be billed to the customer.

Compiled from public records, 2026. Tariffs and interconnection rules change; verify with Town of Oak Creek before you rely on this. The useful move: if an installer says you need a main panel upgrade, ask how these tap and interconnection policies were considered first.
