  • Call JEA Customer Service at to schedule disconnect/reconnect. There is no charge for this action. You will need to follow permit requirements. If only need is to break seal and remove the meter to isolate the circuit breaker panel, permit is required in place with the city/inspection agency.

  • JEA does not allow coupler or splices to be installed on the conductor in the meter can. 
  • JEA will allow the landing of secondary conductors via approved terminating lugs on the load side of the meter in accordance with NEC and the local inspection authority.
