Net Excess Generation Notes

The customer will be credited on outflow for the billing period or time-based pricing period. The credit shall be applied to the current billing month and shall be used to offset charges on that bill. The credit shall not offset the customer service charge. Any excess credit not used will be carried forward to

subsequent billing periods. Unused outflow credit from previous months will be applied to the current billing month, if applicable. Outflow credit is non-transferable. (credit rate for excess generation is $0.11375)

Install Reqs
  • Area shall be cleared of obstructions 15" on each side and 48" in front of meter
  • Entrance and exit conduits shall be installed using the knockout holes provided by the manufacturer
  • Production Meters are not required in Michigan per AEP
  • Area surrounding the current electrical meter up to 2 feet in all directions
