Eversource NH does not impose an offset or size limit. If the home only needs 10 kw but you prefer to install 20 kw, that is fine. The payment rate for excess KWH will be the same.
We do not perform a calculation of the optimal system size to match the usage
METER AGGREGATION: If the customer would like to pursue meter aggregation through the state of NH, they will impose offset restrictions based on combined historical usage of the utility accounts. The state has advised that they have updated their process and will not approve applications before PTO is provided on system. Need to wait to apply until after PTO approval is received.

Plans & docs
- Site Plan Reqs
- Distance to transformer and whether it is overhead or underground (IX must enter on application)
- Property/lot lines and street names
- Location of utility meter and point of interconnection
- Labeling of all equipment as shown on attached snip
- Title block must show customer name, address, date, drawing number and revision number
- In the event there are more than one meters on the UBill a thumbnail of the meters will be on site plan and indicate which meter is the residential meter to interconnect behind.
- Upload the full shade report to the files section of LS for every project
- Inverter and disco 3 feet away from MSP.
Battery projects:
- There needs to be an exterior AC disconnect that will disconnect both the PV and the batteries.
- Powerwall/SolarEdge Energy Bank Information needs to be listed in system details on the right side of the Planset, see below for exact verbiage.
BATTERY: SOLAREDGE ENERGY BANK
BAT-10K1P, LITHIUM-ION NMC BATTERY,
NEMA 3R, DC COUPLED
SIZE (DC): 13.5 KW
SIZE (AC): 5 KW
GATEWAY: SOLAREDGE BACKUP INTERFACE
BI-EUS or BI-NUS

SIZE (DC): 13.5 KW
SIZE (AC): 5 KW
- GATEWAY: TESLA GATEWAY 2
- SLD Reqs
- Must show the existing/proposed service, including the Eversource revenue metering, and how the proposed generation will interconnect to it.
- Can be hand drawn, but must be legible.
- Include: Size of main breaker, external AC disconnect switch (when required or installed), kW rating, Inverter(s)and existing or back up generation (if applicable).
- AC generator disconnects are required for systems over 10.0 kW. NOTE: Eversource may require a disconnect switch for smaller systems in accordance with Part PUC 905 Technical Requirements for Interconnections For Facilities, PUC 905.01 Requirements For Disconnect Switches and 905.02 Disconnect Switch.
- Must show actual proposed equipment. Ex: Do NOT include “MIN 60A” for a disconnect size.
- Electric Service Reqs
- Install Reqs
On a typical radial distribution EPS circuit (“feeder”) the annual peak load is measured at thesubstation circuit breaker, which corresponds to the supply point of the circuit. A circuit may also besupplied from a tap on a higher-voltage line, sometimes called a subtransmission line. On morecomplex radial EPSs, where bidirectional power flow is possible due to alternative circuit supply options(“loop service”), the normal supply point is the loop.
Interconnecting Customers using Listed single-phase inverter-based Facilities with power ratings of100 kVA or less at locations receiving single-phase service from a single-phase transformer, or usingListed three-phase inverter-based Facilities with power ratings of 100 kVA or less at locations receivingthree-phase service from a three-phase transformer configuration, and requesting an interconnection onradial EPSs where the aggregate Facility capacity on the circuit is less than 7.5% of circuit annual peakload qualify for Simplified interconnection
- Placards
- Labeling is required with placards; in the event the project has a DC disconnect it must be clearly labeled with a placard.
- Placards labeling each Disconnect and corresponding number 1 of 3(AC Disco by UM) - 2 of 3, 3 of 3... (AC Disco moving father away from UM)
