At the end of the billing period, consumers are billed based on the sum of delivered and received power. If a member produces more energy than they consume, the kWh charge is zero and the bill will reflect the excess energy which shall be credited during the next billing period to the member at the monthly avoided energy cost ($0.024) per kilowatt-hour. If a member uses more than they produce, they are billed for the energy used along with the monthly service charge.

Compiled from public records, 2026. Tariffs and interconnection rules change; verify with NorthEast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative before you rely on this. The useful move: if an installer says you need a main panel upgrade, ask how these tap and interconnection policies were considered first.
