  • If the customer generates more energy than consumed during a monthly billing cycle, the customer shall receive an energy credit in kilowatt hours for the next billing month. Monthly credit shall be applicable to energy only. At the end of the 12 months, the Borough will purchase any excess generation at $0.0385/kWh
  • If a member receives a total yearly credit of more than $600, they will receive a 1099, and will have to pay tax on it.

  • Must be posted in a conspicuous place on the electric meter or meter box to notify that there is a generator source installed on the load side of the meter
  • Warning label shall not be placed in a location that would interfere with the ability to read the electric meter
  • Must be placed before the generation is connected
