For each billing period, the Consumer’s monthly energy generated by Consumer’s Eligible Generation Source for that billing period will be credited by an amount per kilowatt-hour at the Cooperative’s stated rate as outlined in section below. Cooperative shall review the cost of service based rate at least annually to ensure rate reflects the appropriate cost.
As of the Effective Date of this Rider (June 1, 2022), monthly generated energy shall be credited at the Cooperative’s rate of:
- Summer Months (June through September) @ 8.0¢ per kWh
- Winter Months (October through May) @ 5.0¢ per kWh
If the solar credit is larger than the energy bill, the remaining credit rolls over to the next month as long as the account remains active.

The size of the array is checked by me based on the average of the Highest PEAK demand meter readings
If the system is too large we will not approve the application.
To qualify for service under this Rider, the Nameplate Rating of the Consumer’s installed generation system and equipment must not exceed the Consumer’s actual or estimated average (12)-month non-coincidental demand (kW) or 20 kW for a residential consumer or 1,000 kW for a non-residential consumer, whichever is less

**If at any time these accepted points of interconnection are requiring a meter base gut change out, meter base upgrade, or upgrade to service at the members home you will need to contact to request a temporary disconnect before the work is done. If the application is NOT in approval to install, we will NOT grant the temporary disconnection until the application is in Approval to install status. Also, once power is temporarily disconnected, we will require a county inspection separate to the solar permit to have service reconnected. For questions, and/or more information, please contact me any time at .
