_AC Disconnect_


* One visible bade opening, lockable, disconnect for all Net Metering generation within sight of service entrance meter. Preferably adjacent to the meter, but within 10 feet of the meter. Disconnect required to be accessible to and lockable by Entergy 24/7. (Pull out type switch is not acceptable)


* Entergy Texas will accept a breaker in lieu of blade opening type disconnect for non-battery backup solar units 25kVA and below. This breaker could be in a house panel/breaker box and must be accessible to Entergy 24/7

Install Reqs

Systems should be on so Entergy can perform their utility inspection.

_**_RED BACKGROUND WITH WHITE LETTERS AND UV RESISTANT. THE LETTERING ON EACH LABEL/TAG SHALL BE 3/16 INCH OR LARGER AND BE EITHER RAISED OR INCISED ON EACH TAG. EACH TAG/LABEL SHALL BE RIVETED OR GLUED TO THE METER LOOP, SWITCH, OR DISCONNECT. PERMANENTLY ATTACHED TAGS ARE REQUIRED. _


_Meter (or breaker box if it is within one foot of meter):_

Must label with type or size of generator with arrow pointing to it stating distance to disconnect.


_Breaker (If applicable)_

Outside of the breaker box required to be labeled (IE: Solar Disconnect Inside) and the breaker stall be labeled with arrow (IE: Solar Disconnect -->)


_Disconnect (If disconnect is a blade opening disconnect)_

Required to be labeled with type of generator (IE: Solar Disconnect or Wind Power Disconnect)
