Members will be compensated at the cooperative’s full retail rate for energy returned to the grid up until all of the member’s usage each month has been offset. Any generation in excess of the member’s monthly usage during any billing period shall not be compensated.


Any power generated by your system which is in excess of your monthly usage will be returned to the electric grid and cannot be carried forward from month to month.

Customer to call to the utility upfront to schedule a "Solar Audit" with the utility, they'll then determine the approved system size. The approved system size may not be 100% offset as they use their own offset calculation, so it's imperative that the customer take care of does upfront.

SLD Reqs

A manual disconnect device that has a visual break that is appropriate to the voltage level (a disconnect switch, a draw-out breaker, or fuse block), and is accessible to the Cooperative personnel, and capable of being locked in the open position by a cooperative padlock

Line side tap conductors must end in a breaker or fuses not in mlo lugs in the panel.

Disconnect can not be locate in interior.

Facilities Rated 15 kW or Less

Must have an interconnect disconnect device, a generator disconnect device, an over-voltage trip, an under-voltage trip, an over/under frequency trip, and a manual or automatic synchronizing check (for facilities with stand-alone capability).
