Net Excess Generation Notes

If the electricity generated by the Customer exceeds consumption and is distributed back to District during the billing period, then the Customer shall be billed for the same customer service charge(s) as are applied to other customers of the District in the same rate class; and shall be credited for the net excess kilowatt-hours generated during the billing period, with this kilowatthour credit appearing on Customer’s bill for the following billing period. At the end of each calendar year, any and all of the kW-hr electric energy credit(s) remaining on Customer’s account shall be reimbursed to the Customer by the District at the 50% of the current retail energy rate applicable to the Customer.
