Site Plan Reqs

Not Required for Interconnection submittal

SLD Reqs

INCLUDE NOTE ON SLD NEAR METER ILLISTRATION INCLUDING

  • METER NUMBER (EXAMPLE X123456789)
  • RATING (CL200/320)
  • IF METER CAN IS CT RATED (CT RATED METER CAN)
Electric Service Reqs

Disconnect must be a single switch that isolates the entire system

Install Reqs

For projects with battery, please leave the system ON after system commissioning. Failure to do so will cause a failed utility inspection.

Placards
  • Meter enclosures shall be labeled with permanently affixed signage at the net metering enclosure to identify their function (i.e: net meter)
  • Where metering is accomplished at different voltages, the signage must also identify the voltages at which the meters are energized.
  • Labels shall confirm to the requirements of NEC Article 690.
  • All labeling should be capitalized. PSE requires engraved phenolic nameplates or adhesive die-cute labels at least 1 inch high, with raised or cut-out lettering that is a minimum of 3/8 inch high.

FOR PROJECTS EQUIPED WITH A CT RATED METER

  • INCLUDE NOTE ON SLD NEXT TO UM "CT RATED METER CAN"
  • ALL ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT SHALL BE ILLISTRATED ON THE DIAGRAM (CT CAN, SERVICE METER, ALL PANELBOARDS)
  • LOCKABLE AC DISCONNECT SHALL BE LOCATED WITHIN LINE OF SITE TO THE METER

Compiled from public records, 2026. Tariffs and interconnection rules change; verify with Puget Sound Energy before you rely on this. The useful move: if an installer says you need a main panel upgrade, ask how these tap and interconnection policies were considered first.
